Getting Started

  1. Navigate to https://bracketsync.com/create-tournament to find our create page (this can be used to create a tournament or a league)
  2. The page has two views (light & dark mode) which does not effect the look of the actual tournament page - this is always in light mode.

Event Information

  1. The image on the left is a placeholder for you tournament/league poster. Click on it to upload your poster image.
  2. Fill out the tournament/league name where you see “Tournament Name”. This will change to “League Name” if you update ‘event type’ below
    1. What is a Tournament? A tournament would be used if you plan to hold a single event (even if spanning across a couple of consecutive days) where the players enroll once into their event(s). Bracketsync offers specific features for creating matches based on this setting.
    2. What is a League? A league would be used if you plan to hold multiple play sessions across a span of weeks/months where the player pays once and can play their event across the entire span of the league. Bracketsync also has specific league features that help facilitate this type of match creation.
  3. Choose start date and end date (make end date the same as start date if played on a single day)
  4. Add in Address, City, State (this is displayed across our site when promoting your event as well as used for the google maps link on the event page).
  5. Choose Event Type (again this confirms tournament or league, this will place your event on the tournament/league discover pages + sections as well).

Registration Setup

The registration section is where you will configure all your events for the tournament or league that your plays will pay + enroll into.

  1. One-time fee: This will add to the fee your players pay to enroll into a tournament/league and will be added on once - for example if you’d like to charge $70 to play one event but $90 to play two events you could add a $50 one time fee then a $20 event fee (which you set on each individual event). There are other options for payments such as discount codes too. Leave at $0 if you don’t plan on charging this.

  2. Creating your events: There are two options to do this, ⚡️ Quick Create or ➕ Add New Event.
